Castro on Fire: A Walking Tour of Queer Resistance

This 90-minute walking tour takes you through the decade that made the

Castro legendary — a neighborhood that threw the best parties in America,

fought the police in the streets, and when plague arrived, invented entirely

new ways to love and care for each other. Learn stories you won't find on any

other tour: the trans pioneers, the lesbians who saved lives, and the activists

who spraypainted body outlines on Castro Street and dared the city to look.

Come for the history, stay for the free drink at the end. Net proceeds will go

towards the Monarchs’ Administration Fund and Monarch Charity Fund.
